Acknowledgment of Policies

Before being able to book any service with us, you are required to acknowledge our salon policies. We want to make sure that we are all on the same page and that we are respectful of each other’s time. By selecting that you acknowledge and understand our salon policies, you are holding yourself accountable to the policies on this page and affirming that you know you will be held responsible for Late Cancellations, Late Reschedulings, and No-Show charges as per the information below. You are required to leave a card on file that will be charged in the event of the aforementioned Cancellations and Reschedulings.

Reservations

All reservations must be made online through our booking portal here. Please arrive on time (preferably not early or more than 10 minutes late). It is important that services begin and end on time as a courtesy to the next guest.

After booking your service, you will receive a confirmation email with all of the info you’ll need for your appointment. If you need to make any adjustments or cancellations, you can do so through that email.


By booking, you assert that you have read and understood our salon policies.

Services

We have a no-refund policy on services completed at our salon. We offer complimentary adjustments within 7 days of the service completion pending management approval. Chemical results may vary. During services, we require your full, undivided attention. It is important to us that we be on the same page during your service so please plan to be an active participant for the duration of your service.

Afterpay

Please note that Virgo Salon is not affiliated with Afterpay; it is simply one of the payment methods we accept. Ensure that you are signed up and have a sufficient balance for your appointment. Afterpay requires that 25% of the balance be available in your account for the payment to process. If your Afterpay payment does not go through, you will need to have an alternative payment method ready.

Gina Curl Pricing and Policy

The price is determined by the length, texture, condition, and previous chemicals in the client’s hair. Our price starts at $950($750 for the straight variation) with a starting length of three inches. Of this $950/$750, $250 is considered a deposit. This will confirm your day and time. Your deposit is refunded if you cancel 7 days before your appointment. Please see ilovevirgo.com/ginacurl for more information. Please note that we are unable to perform Ginacurl Retouches for clients who have previously received Ginacurl services from a stylist outside of Virgo Salon. Our experience has shown that we cannot ensure desired outcomes when we are not the ones providing the services. This policy is implemented with the well-being of the client's hair in consideration. It is in line with our commitment to our client’s hair health.

Late Appointments

There may be a waiting period of up to 10 minutes before your appointment. Curly hair can be quite time-consuming to work through, and while we make every effort to be on time for all appointments, there are times when that isn’t possible. We thank you in advance for your patience.

Late Fee

As mentioned above, If you are more than the allotted 10 minutes late for your appointment, we usually will be unable to accommodate you due to time constraints, however, in the event that we are, there is a $25 late fee that goes directly to the stylist for their inconvenience.

How to Arrive for Dry Cuts

Please arrive with your hair down as you would wear it on a normal day-to-day basis. Use whatever care and styling products you would normally put in your hair. DO NOT put your hair up in a ponytail, bun, or any other style that would result in your hair being stretched out. Should you come with your hair in a bun, and your hair is too stretched to cut properly, we will need to reschedule your appointment and you may incur a late rescheduling fee.

Perm, Color, and Chemical Service Disclaimer

We cannot guarantee the health or aesthetics of your perm, color, or other chemical services if you do not follow our salon instructions and use the proper and recommended products and techniques on your processed hair. After getting a chemical service, your hair will require more nourishment, and moisture, and using products with cheap, unnatural, and stripping ingredients may cause damage or breakage to your hair.

Results of Chemical services may vary but especially on compromised/ damaged hair such as previously lightened, heat-damaged, or chemical-treated portions. Everyone’s hair will respond differently to perms and color, and in some cases will not be able to hold perm or color as well as expected. In the case of perms, curls may come out tighter or looser than expected. In the case of curls being tighter than initially expected, be aware that the curls will naturally loosen over time. In the case of curls coming out looser than expected, it may be due to heat or chemical damage from previous services, or an overall lack of hair health before the treatment. If you feel your hair may have been compromised ahead of time, please book a consultation with a stylist beforehand so we can evaluate your hair and/or add the pre-perm booster to your service which will help to strengthen the bonds of your hair before the service. We always work to ensure that we perform services in as healthy a way as possible and always work toward getting as close to your ideal aesthetic as possible. Cancellations

In an effort to better serve guests seeking last-minute accommodations, guests will now be required to cancel or reschedule their Virgo reservation 48 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid a 50% fee charged to your card on file. Late Cancellations for services booked within 24 hours of the booking will incur a 25% fee.

If you receive a 25% credit due to a late cancellation turned into a late reschedule, please note that this credit can only be utilized for the same service initially booked.

Late Rescheduling

Similar to the Late Cancellation policy, if you find that you need to reschedule your appointment, please do so no less than 48 hours before your appointment in order to avoid a 25% charge to your card on file.

If you have booked your appointment with less than 24 hours between your booking time and the scheduled appointment, you are required to reschedule 3 hours before your service start time to avoid the late rescheduling fee.


If a late reschedule turns into a cancellation, it will be treated and charged as that cancellation. This will result in an additional charge for the remaining balance of the cancellation. Because the 25% rescheduling fee is charged soon after a late reschedule, if it later turns into a cancellation, there will be an additional 25% charge for the remaining balance of the 50% charged for late cancellations.

Incorrect Bookings

Please note that if you are unsure of the service you need, you can reach out to us at hello@ilovevirgo.com or by using the chat box before booking your appointment. Alternatively, you can make an appointment and then reach out to ensure that it is the correct service for your needs at the same points of contact noted above.

If an incorrect booking is made, we will reach out as soon as we become aware of it. In some cases, we may need to reschedule you to another day and time that will accommodate a longer or more involved service if that is what you need. We make an effort to reach out sometime before your appointment but there are some occasions when it may be missed until the day of or during your appointment. For this reason, the best bet is to reach out regarding your service.

In the event of an incorrect booking is made and an appointment is missed, the Client will be responsible for 25% of the appointment cost.

Should you select a hair length or thickness that does not align with your actual requirements when booking, we retain the right to adjust your appointment to the appropriate pricing, which may differ from the initial quote provided at the time of booking.

No Shows

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointments, without contacting the salon to cancel, you will be subject to pay the FULL AMOUNT of the services reserved.

Clients who no show on more than one occasion will be required to pay in full before any appointments are booked.

Tardiness

Though it’s best to make your appointment on time, we understand that sometimes life gets in the way. For this reason, we offer a 10-minute grace period for clients who are running late. Any later than 10 minutes requires rescheduling and a 25% late cancellation fee. Please note that you may have to accept an abbreviated service to keep our on-time clients on schedule. If you are running late, always call us as soon as possible as, depending on the schedule, we will be able to work with you if we know ahead of time.

Right to Refuse Service  

A positive environment at Virgo is our top priority. While we would like to open our doors to all, we will not tolerate rude, aggressive, or demeaning behavior from our clients to any staff member or fellow client. Clients behaving negatively or rudely will be asked to leave and not return.

Travel Fees

If on- location services are required, a travel fee of $250 will be added to the service cost to the location.

Payment + Gratuities

We accept cash as well as all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Personal checks are not accepted and we do not give cash back on credit card charges.

Gratuity is not included in the service fees listed on our price list.

Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

We believe that every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with your stylist will remain confidential

Client lists and email lists are confidential and we do not sell or share any client info with outside companies

Lost Items

Please do not bring valuable with you as we are not responsible for lost, broken or stolen items
